Art-2-Facts
Bring the kiddos to the Richmond Hill Historical Society Museum to experience the most CREATIVE way to learn! Presented in conjunction with our amazing sponsors, Art-2-Facts is our newest youth program designed to engage even the littlest learners with some hands-on learning opportunities!
Each Art-2-Facts program session focuses on a different artifact, or theme, that is significant to Richmond Hill's History. Sessions include 15-30 minutes of theme-centered and age-appropriate learning in the museum and 1 hour of guided, theme-focused, crafting outside at The Craft Station's mobile craft bar! This upcoming session on Sunday, April 19th, will focus on Cotton Cultivation in Bryan County.
This program is offered FREE to kiddos of Richmond Hill Historical Society & Museum Members who hold a current membership with RHHS&M at the Family level and above. The session fee for Non-Members of the historical society is $30. The session fee includes museum admission, learning materials, and craft supplies for 1 kiddo plus the attendance of 1 parent/guardian and 1 younger sibling. (Craft materials for little siblings who may not participate in the learning session are provided.) These sessions are most appropriate for kids ages 6 and up, but all kiddos who are able to follow directions and participate in a multi-step guided craft are welcome.
Pre-registration is required to ensure adequate supplies are ordered, prepared, and available. Space is limited.
